You can control the
geometry of constraint parameters with mathematical expressions.
While you can insert both user variables and user
parameters in the Block Editor, only user parameters
are displayed as editable custom properties for a block reference.
There are several types
of user parameters. For more information, see Parameters Manager - Block Editor.
NoteUser parameters can
be exposed as custom properties of the block reference. If it does
not define an equation, then the property can be edited. If it is an
equation, then the property is read-only.
To create a new user parameter
- In the Block Properties Table dialog
box, click New Properties.
- In the New Parameter dialog box, specify
a name and a value. Click OK.
CommandsBCPARAMETER
Applies constraint parameters
to selected objects, or converts dimensional constraints to parameter
constraints.
BTABLE
Displays a dialog box
to define variations of a block.
DIMCONSTRAINT
Applies dimensional
constraints to selected objects or points on objects, or converts
associative dimensions to dimensional constraints.
System VariablesBCONSTATUSMODE
Turns the constraint
display status on and off and controls the shading of objects based
on their constraint level.
